Today we are seeing the challenges of mental and emotional wellness as top priorities in our Nation. We mustn’t neglect our spiritual life for worldly pursuits.
Health is wealth because without it we can’t fully enjoy the life God has given to us. Learning how to rest in God’s word and His presence in prayers gives us new strength emotionally and mentally. Many people neglect their emotional needs and it causes many infirmities to be afflicted. Spiritual maturity also increases our spiritual strength to seek God and trust Him. For He who waits upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Isaiah 40:31
Life faces many troubles and burdens but God is able to give us the strength to overcome them. Emotional strength is not how strong we are mentally but how strong God is in our faith and prayer. We must be lesser, and He be greater. John 3:30. Let us not be too busy that we lose sight of Him but to seek Him daily for new strength.
