Healing in Worship

“The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation. The voice of rejoicing and salvation Is in the tents of the righteous; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly. The right hand of the Lord is exalted; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly. I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭118‬:‭14‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

David’s life was threatened countless times by His adversaries and even sicknesses. There are times when we can’t find words to pray when our spirit is weary and down. Yet the psalmist relied not on power or might but by the Spirit of God who gives life abundantly. Zechariah 4:6. The songs to God became the songs of prayers, healing, miracles, signs and wonders.

As the deer pants for the water so as our souls long for the Lord in spirit and truth. Worship is the life of a Christian and not a performance. We cannot know the heart of God without having the heart of Worship. Even the evil spirit has to leave Saul when David was singing unto the Lord, bringing peace to the soul.

To God be the glory!
