9 September 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”Micah‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Redemption and restoration comes in waiting upon the Lord for His answers. Learning to love is also learning to wait. Our flesh can’t wait and is always anxious to move and act. But the Spirit of the Lord is still and knows that the Lord is God. Psalm 46:10. He has His appointed time for His anointed for action. Don’t rush into critical decisions before seeking the Lord in prayer. He knows the best for our rest.

Remember this, there is no anointing without the waiting. It is not just about prayer but about giving our presence wholeheartedly to God. It is the one thing that matters most to Him, our hearts. Waiting is always loving times because we always wait for whom we love. Holy Spirit is liken a dove, gentle and sensitive. Matthew 11:28-29 He will not rest on anyone who is busy, not still, and noisy. In fact, the waiting time upon the Lord is God’s redemptive time for our weary and dry souls, thirsty and hungry for His Spirit and Word. The secret of all breakthroughs is waiting upon the Lord. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, your face I shall seek and my time I shall give to behold your glory. My soul finds rest in you and my mind is renewed in your presence, counsel and comfort. You are the God in whom I trust. Anoint me with oil, till my cup overflows. Teach me to always wait upon your Word, Wisdom and Ways everlasting in the Spirit. With God, all things are possible and nothing is impossible for the Lord, in Jesus Name, Amen.
