11 May 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”Psalms 105:3-4 NIV In times of uncertainties, disruption or difficulties, we have to focus on Christ and not on the crisis, through prayers, worship and hearing His word. Romans 10:17 Faith is not self confidence but confidence in God alone. Faith is not produced by man, it is given by God, with a new measure. Jesus didn’t guarantee us a trouble free life, rather an overcoming life in Him. John 16:33

In Matthew 14, we saw a trilogy of faith, fear and faithfulness unfold when disciples saw Jesus walking in the storm. “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”Matthew 14:28-33

Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me by your Holy Spirit with new vision, revelation, direction, and divine provision. You are my Lord, savior, banner, deliverer, provider and healer in the times of storm, fire and weakness. I choose to rejoice in you and trust you with all my heart, leaning not in my own understanding. Hold me close to your Lord. Your faithful, mighty and righteous right hand is my strength and my security, in Jesus Name, Amen.
