9 May 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.”Psalms 17:6 NIV The deepest intimacy with God is dwelling in His secret place of prayer, petition and thanksgiving. It is where we find His love, peace and joy of the Holy Spirit. When our delight is in the Lord, He fulfils the desires of our heart. Psalm 37:4 In life there are many worries, fears and anxieties of the future or pain, wounds and failures in the past. Prayer keeps us in His presence in the present of His Word for our path. For beautiful is His dwelling places.

He who created us has the best for us. Jeremiah 29:11 For He sends His Word to redeem and heal us from our past and casts out fears with faith in His everlasting love. Apostle Paul spoke in the prison of His persecution,”Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:4-7 He will never leave nor forsake us.

Prayer: O Lord my God, draw me close to you as I pray and praise your Holy Name. My hope and trust is in you alone, my Lord, the rock of my salvation and refuge. Lead me into your path of righteousness, holiness and joy of your Spirit. Guide me always in your truth for your truth sets me free and in your presence there is fullness of joy. May your daily word be like wood to the coals at the prayer altar daily, burning day and night lighting up the temple of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name, Amen.
