Today’s Inspiration: “Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.””John 21:15 NIV The disciples of Christ was at a lost when Jesus was crucified and they went back fishing but they encountered the resurrected Christ who not only made breakfast for them by the miracles but also brought them back to their calling, gifting and commission. The love of Christ never fails to find us in our darkest, daunting and difficult moments.

Christ not only healed Peter of his guilt and remorse because of the rejection of Christ 3 times, He reinstated his love, faith and hope in God’s calling for they are irrevocable. Despite of our sins and failings, God never fail to love us and care for us eternally. We are not just servants in the kingdom but also sons and daughters. That inner healing brought Peter from despair to delight, fear to faith, and pain to promises. Do we love Jesus? If yes, let’s begin to feed the lambs for many too need Christ like us. The harvest is plentiful, but workers are few. Are we willing to be sent?
Prayer: O Lord my God, may the love of Christ compels me and work inside of me. Forgive me of my past and lead me to your promises, providence and peace, for they are yes and Amen. Give me a new measure of faith, to not look just to the needs for myself but also to the needs of others. You have plans for me, to prosper and not harm, to give me hope and a powerful future, so that more shall come to the aging knowledge of Christ and eternal life, in Jesus Name, Amen.
