Today’s Inspiration: “Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.” Psalms 24:9 NIV. At the juncture and posture of worship is the brink of breakthrough and wonders in transitions. Gates speaks about authority, opening, emotions and access to a new phase, age and stage in our journey in life. In ancient times the gates called portcullis are not like doors with hinges at the entrance of the city.

They are held by huge chains and mechanical pulleys which are impossible for human strength to lift. Are we facing heaviness, sickness or brokenness with problems that seem too much for us to lift or resolved? God has full authority to all gates because He is the king of kings, and lord of lords. Prophet Micah reveals,”The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.”Micah 2:13 NIV Christ is the one who lifts up all burdens, all blockages and breaks all bondages. He is the King of Glory! Times of breakthroughs are beginning. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the breakthrough and the breaker to all gates. It is your anointing and authority that breaks all yokes in my life. Let the word of my mouth and worship in my heart lift up holy hands to give you praise for your presence, O Lord. If God is for us, nothing can be against us. I believe the king of glory shall open doors that no man can shut and close doors to the enemy that no one can open, in Jesus Name, Amen.
