Today’s Inspiration: “For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths.” Proverbs 5:21. God is more aware of our daily lives than we do and devotion to His Word brings light to our life with His revelation and direction. No one likes trials or tribulations and the enemy always uses them to cause us to doubt God and His promises. But a disciple of Christ has a different spirit, where one knows when there is love, there is also discipline. Num 14:24. For without the Cross, the flesh will not die and without the Resurrection, the Spirit will not rise.
Whatever situation you go through, God’s promises still stand. But our minds have to be renewed to realign to His will, purpose, and plan by His Word. Remember when there is crisis, there are opportunities, when there is failure there are lessons to be learnt, and when there is sickness, there is healing to be encountered. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:2-5. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my eyes not hold onto the problems but turn to your promises. Let my prayers, petitions, and thanksgiving be unto you a living sacrifice. Let my mind be renewed and my heart be aligned to your Word. Your promises stand forever and they are Yes and Amen. Guide me to be humble, obedient, and teachable in the Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
