Today’s Inspiration: “By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”Hebrews 11:7. Would we spend a hundred years building an ark which the world mocks and trusting God’s Word for the salvation of our families and loved ones?
Noah feared God and not man because He hears and obeys the voice of God and his entire family and descendants were saved from the Flood because of His Faith in God. Romans 10:17. The Gospel of Christ is likened the Ark of God, the salvation of souls and sanctification of our sins. Only those who believed, built the Ark and was saved. Believers are Builders in the Kingdom of God. Financial crisis, pandemic, critical illness, and even war we see today are like the flood of calamity which hits without notice and comes without warning. The Church is like the Ark for all creatures who respond to the gospel and God’s Word is like the bulwark of the Ark who keeps us afloat when the Flood comes. We are all called to be Builders of the Ark.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise and you chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. May I be faithful to your voice and be called to do your bidding as Noah for the Ark for my family and love ones. Remove all my fears, anxieties and doubts that I may have faith, hope and love for your divine plans and purposes. And when I am weak, you are strong who give me strength and wisdom to build the Ark, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
