9 May 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬-‭11. Faith breaks the boundaries of fear and shifts us into the promises of God. This is a time and season to plant new seeds to sow in the Spirit and not in the flesh. From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭20‬-‭21.

Don’t be entangled in complains, arguments, quarrels, grumbles and strifes, for they form thorns and thistles to corrupt character, hinder spiritual grow and maturity. They manifest through the wounds in our lives. The flesh will always want you to fight but the Spirit would desire you to forgive. The flesh will take things to one’s hand but the Spirit will bring all prayers to the Lord. Pride brings forth a fall but with humility comes honour. Proverbs 14:18. The flesh is anti-prayer, anti-word, and anti-worship. Sowing in the Spirit is to draw near to God, submit to His Word, Ways and Wisdom, and the devil will flee. James 4:7. Sow His Word and promises in your Heart daily and proclaim them in your tongue in prayer. Your shall bear good fruit in the coming harvest. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let your Word never depart from my mouth and your Holy Spirit from my Spirit. Let my eyes be attentive to your Holy Word and turn my ears to your wisdom. Let me abide in your presence all the days of my life. Do not let them out of my sight, for I will keep them within my heart; for they are life in my prayers and health to my whole body, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
