Today’s Inspiration: “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” Romans 13:14 NKJV. In 2025, let us not be distracted by our busyness in the worldly things but to put on our amour of God to know the spiritual things of the Most High in our lives. Many of our problems emerge from our fleshly desires, words, ways, and thoughts. With greed comes poverty, with lust comes sickness, and with pride comes divisions. 1 John 2:16.
In 2025, set our minds on Christ Jesus. Putting on Christ is not about coming to church and hearing the word of God. It is to walk out a Christlike life in spiritual formation, transformation, and maturity. Apostle Paul taught,”For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”Romans 8:5-6. What will we do to be more like Christ? Not just in words but with actions.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Let me be clothed with your garment of praise, be filled with your oil of joy, and be crown with the joy of your salvation to share Christ and be like Christ. Bring fresh revelation and direction to my mind and set my thoughts to be yours and my ways to your purpose. Let there be a realignment of my spirit with your Holy Spirit Lord, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
