Today‘s Inspiration: ”The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”Psalms 110:1 NKJV. David was just a shepherd boy in his teenage years and was a courier of lunch for his brothers at the battle front. On the other side, was a threat to Israel with a giant called Goliath that sent chills to the soldiers of Israel and king Saul. King Saul and his armies wasn’t sure God was on their side but young David knew which side he is on and the position where he stands, especially who stands by him and for him. Do You?
The attitude between Saul and David was that the Saul was used to defeating armies or enemy smaller than him but David was trained to defeat adversaries that were larger than him. Saul was exalting the size of Goliath but David exalted the size of God. David said,”Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” And Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you!”I Samuel 17:36-37. It is time to declare and decree the victory of God for your season. Position ourselves with Christ for our position determines our perspective and our perspective determines our prospect of success. Glory be to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, your word is where my position shall be and your victory is sure. Let me be at your right hand to rule and reign in the Spirit. You had made me more than a conqueror with your victory at the Cross and restored the power and authority by your blood through the Holy Spirit of Resurrection. For I decree and declare that all enemies shall become the Lord’s footstool and victory is my portion, in Jesus Name, Amen.
