8 October 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.”Psalms‬ ‭147‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Our prayer and waiting time upon the Lord is not wasted time but fruitful and powerful in His delight. Remember our battle is not carnal, meaning from the outside but spiritual, which is from the inside. 2 Corinthians 10:4. Healing is not about just physical liberation but a wholesome restoration of our minds and hearts, for both our mental and emotional wellness. God expands our capacity.

You will discover that when we have the passion to pray, read God’s word and apply His commands in our lives; our thoughts, words, emotions and actions begins to experience victory, strength and optimism in the Spirit man. Prayer helps us daily to remove fear, anxieties, stress, and tensions from the battle of our minds. Romans 12:2 Thoughts are like seeds, so what is not planted by God in our mind shall be uprooted by prayers daily. Prayer increases our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit through sanctification. We overcome our challenges not by might, nor by power but by the Spirit of God in prayer and proclamation by faith.

Prayer: O Lord my God, may your presence and peace, sanctify us through and through. May our whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls us is faithful, and He will do it. Preserve our souls, preserve us from all evil, and preserve us in our outgoing and incoming, now forth forevermore, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
