9 January 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.” John‬ ‭13‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭AMP.‬‬ Jesus didn’t come to remove or abolish the law but to fulfil the law and make it easy instead of 613 laws that was listed for the Jews. Matthew 5:17. The law was fulfilled by His holy life, His obedience and His precious and mighty blood shed at the Cross of Calvary for our sins, iniquities and transgressions so that whosoever believe in Him shall joy perish but has eternal life. Glory to God!

Christ revealed that the greatest commandment of all is the love for God, our Abba Father and His new commandment is to show His love for souls. He came so that the Father’s love can be revealed. The world is desperate and empty of love because of sin and deceptions of the devil. The love of God is different from the love of the world. The love of the world puts oneself or another first but the love of Christ put God first. Matthew 6:33 God’s love is unfailing, unconditional and unlimited for the poor, the lost and the sick. He is the father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. Psalm 68:5. So cast all your cares to the Lord for He loves you and will make all things well for you as you trust Him with all your heart. His love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let thy love compels me to change and be renewed in Christ, in repentance and obedience to your Word. For you Lord do not look at my outward appearance but looks into my heart. Forgive my sins and take away my old heart and give me a new one that loves like you do, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
