Today’s Inspiration: You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. Deuteronomy 11:19. It’s our holy ambition, responsibility and divine calling to bring God’s Word and Spirit to our descendants and next generation. Satan’s strategy is to block the generation’s eyes and ears to hear and know Christ. Therefore, our priority prayer is to lead them with Christlikeness. Discipleship begins at home.
Apostle Paul wrote,”But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.”II Corinthians 4:3-4. When our children’s eyes are on Christ and His Word, they shall be filled with His love, hope and faith to touch lives and bring the Good News to the world. The blessings of God shall come upon them and overtake them, to be the head and not the tail, the top and not at the bottom. Deuteronomy 28:13 Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let our lives be living for Christ and be like Christ. Let your Word and Spirit be alive in our home and families. May the word of our mouth and meditation of our hearts be always in prayer, petition and thanksgiving unto God. Let our children and children’s children be blessed to be lovers of your Word and to be filled with your Holy Spirit and wisdom. Open our eyes daily to your word, for they are the lamp to our feet and light to our path, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
