Today‘s Inspiration: “I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.” Psalms 63:2-3 NIV The full meaning of life resides not in riches, power or fame but in the love of God, Jesus Christ. A life of a Christian is to be likened as the life of Christ seeking the Father’s love, just as king David who was a man who ran after God’s heart. Acts 13:22. All things are temporal on this earth especially what our eyes could see but what is unseen is eternal, Christ’s greatest gift for us, His Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:18.
God’s love can only be encountered in building our relationship and intimacy with Him through prayer, worship and walking in His word. Christlikeness is the heart of spiritual formation, maturity, and growth. Apostle Paul was a man of intimacy with the Spirit of God, praying at all times in the Spirit. 6:18 There is no anointing without being in the presence of God, His sanctuary and courts of thanksgiving. Our carnal love can easily be offended but the love of God can never be offended and it consumes us unconditionally from the inside out. Only through His love in Christ can we live a fruitful, relational, and fulfilling life. Therefore love God with all our hearts and our neighbours as ourselves.
Prayer: O Lord my God, draw us closer to you for your are our Abba Father, and we are your children who are called by your Name. Let your love compel us with your Holy Spirit to live a life of your love selflessly in the Spirit. Give us strength to deny ourselves, carry the Cross and follow you daily. I believe your anointing shall break every yoke of the enemy and those who trust in you shall bear good fruit of love that will last forever, in Jesus Name, Amen.
