Today’s Inspiration: “But earnestly desire and strive for the greater gifts [if acquiring them is going to be your goal]. And yet I will show you a still more excellent way [one of the choicest graces and the highest of them all: unselfish love].”1 Corinthians 12:31 AMP To serve the body of Christ, we all desires the gifts of the Holy Spirit to build the ministry and Church which is good. Nevertheless, Apostle Paul taught that love is the more excellent way to transform lives. For God is love and love is God. 1 John 4:8

For love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail]. Love bears all things [regardless of what comes], believes all things [looking for the best in each one], hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening]. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 We thank God for His everlasting love and life.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me walk in the Spirit and bear the fruit of your Spirit. Let your agape love hold me close to your word, will and workings in my heart. Your love and mercy endures forever and ever. Let your love be the prophetic direction of my life to love you with all my heart, all my soul, all my strength and all my mind. Let the greatest commandment be my true north, growth and convictions. I believe with love, nothing is impossible for God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
