Today’s Inspiration: “Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Prayer and worship with the Word of God helps us to guard our hearts, for out of it flows issues of life. Proverbs 4:23. Today we see more people looking for spiritual directions than being hungry for the Word of God. In fact our spirituality is founded and established by the Word of God who is Christ our foundation. 1 Corinthians 3:11.

Keeping our tongues and restraining our words are the most daunting and difficult task in life. It is a spiritual battle. Many lives were abused, hurt, condemned and rejected by words, especially growing years. Nevertheless, the gospel tells us that all these can be turned around with the Word of God. God has to heal our hearts and minds before He heals our words. 1 John 4:4. The most important person to forgive is self because a hurting person is one who hurts himself or herself. This causes lots of stress to be hard on oneself and others. But the love, faith and hope in Christ can change it all if you are willing to surrender self to God. There is liberty in the presence of Holy Spirit in prayer.

Prayer: O Lord my God, change my heart and heal my wounds of all past words spoken against me. I choose to forgive, love and trust in your Word and your ways. It’s no longer I live but Christ lives in me and gives me His righteousness and grace that out of my heart shall flow living waters of life, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
