6 March 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.” Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ To build our spiritual life is not just going to church, having programs and doing ministries. God is not looking for a religious or ritualistic church but a relational one with Him. Have we ever seek God alone, not for what He can give us but for who He is.

Jesus taught us to get into our prayer closets and to seek God’s face daily for His bread. Matthew 6:6 Intimacy with God is not just reciting Words in the Bible but being in the tangible presence of God. We keep our minds and hearts fully on seeking His face and just not His hands; His heart and not just His blessings, and His love and not just His forgiveness. He makes us givers, not takers; children, not slaves; citizens, not sojourners, and worshippers, not worriers. Christ alone is who we need and He is more than enough for us. His perfect love always casts out fears. 1 John 4:18.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let us be the generation that seeks your face, the God of Jacob. It is you who we desire and to run after your heart like David. Draw me close to you Lord and never let me go. For there is one thing I desire most and that is to dwell in your presence all the days of my life, beholding your glory, power, and honor in worship, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
