Today’s Inspiration: “I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands. I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you. On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night.” Psalms 63:2-6 NIV.
Life is not just about ourselves but it’s about God and His kingdom. Matthew 6:33. David was a man after God’s own heart and he encountered God in the sanctuary, in the battlefields and in his family. David knew that without the love of God, there is no life. It was the love of God which cast out all fears in his life overcoming rejections, persecutions, and accusations. God took his weaknesses and made it His strength to kill Goliath, took his pain and made it His healing for his lost sons, and took his contrite heart and made it His sanctuary. For God cut off all his enemies and made his name great among the Nations because of his obedience and he united the Nation of Israel and Judah, securing the peace of Jerusalem. 2 Samuel 7:9. Glory to God the highest!
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my heart be contrite and my spirit be broken for your use. For when I am weak, then I shall be strong in your loving hands and divine presence. In you I find my peace, my faith and my hope. Restore all the broken ruins in my life and raise up thy foundations that I may rejoice in the joy of your salvation, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
