Today‘s Inspiration: “A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.” Proverbs 17:22 NKJV. Prayer keeps us at the altar of thanksgiving and praise. Joy comes from meditating God’s Word. Wisdom say,”My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:20-23.
The words of God’s truth set our spirit free from the heaviness, weariness, and tiredness in our hearts, giving us His love, peace, and joy. Our Lord speaks,”So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”Isaiah 55:11-12. A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken. Proverbs 15:13. Praise the Lord!
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the fountain of life and the light of glory to my soul. As the deer pants for the waters so does my soul longs for you and your presence. Your words are like sweet honey in the rock and the hope of my future. You are my shepherd and I shall lack nothing because you are the joy of my salvation and the peace of my restoration, in Jesus Name, Amen.
