6 January 2026 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people.” So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.”Joshua 3:5-6 NKJV In 2026, we need an inner transformation to see the wonders of God, for He is Holy and let us be Holy.

Holiness is not a religious word but a relational process of sanctification by God, the Holy Spirit. Without the forgiveness of sin there is no redemption and without humility we cannot carry the presence of God. We see in the Old Testament sanctification was about outward washing, cleansing, refrains and offering of sacrifices. But in the New Testament we are to be sanctified by blood of Christ over our inner conscience, consecration, and convictions by the work of the Holy Spirit, bringing true genuine transformative works of sonship. It is our identity, intimacy and dependency in Christ that takes precedents, which is our true worship to carry the presence of God. Sanctification overcomes the work of the enemy with breakthroughs.

Prayer: O Lord my God, take me deeper in your love and presence daily. You are the signs and wonders that I sing praises and worship in all seasons with a thanksgiving heart. In and out of season let my heart be filled with your songs, your word and your Holy Spirit. May you always go before me and lead me with your presence, providence, place, peace and protection always, in Jesus Name, Amen.
