Today’s Inspiration: “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. For we who have believed do enter that rest.” Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Having the word but no faith is like being hearer of the word but not doer of the word, one can be deceived. James 1:22. Divine breakthrough comes from obedience which is faith in actions. Satan uses unbelief, doubts and fears to block our healing, restoration and reconciliation.

Our point of contact with God is faith. Faith is believing, trusting, and obeying God’s word by the application of His love, forgiveness, and prayers. Faith is heart knowledge and not head knowledge. It is a spiritual encounter, formation and transformation from the inside out of a soul. Hebrews 11:1. It is when the supernatural becomes the natural in our lives through Christ. Luke 1:37. The devil hates our faith because it believes God and ushers in the Kingdom of God. Healing takes place because the focus is not on the sickness but on the Saviour; not on the problems but on the Provider, not on the crisis but on Christ.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let everything that has breath praise the Lord. You are the author and finisher of our faith, for without faith we cannot please you. We put our trust not on man or things but on the very Word that speaks from your mouth O Lord, for you are the Bread of Life, the presence and power of God who leads me into your rest, recompense and restoration, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
