Today‘s Inspiration: “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” Psalms 139:6-7 NIV. Only a Christian and true disciple of Jesus Christ is aware of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God is omnipresence and is the light to our spirituality. True liberty resides in the truth of our lives. Satan also wants us to hide, deny and blame in sin like Adam and Eve but Christ desires us to walk in His love, His light and His leading in the Spirit according to His word.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18. Without know ourselves in the inner man or spirit man, we will not know who we are truly. Without spiritual formation and transformation, our attitude, behaviour and character will not change into Christlikeness. This can only be done by the Holy Spirit that works in us. Do you hear God’s still small voice? Or are we looking at the wind, earthquake or fire? We need the Holy Spirit daily for divine changes. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Let me calm and quieten myself, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content. Fill me with your Holy Spirit to behold the glory of the Lord, the image of Christ, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
