Today’s Inspiration: “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.” Hebrews‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Salvation can only come through repentance and confession of our sins, for what we lay hold of, lay hold on us. Salvation is not the end but the beginning and that’s where many are deceived by just an identity and status of a Christian, rather by sanctification and regeneration. Man desires position rather than process but a true disciple of Jesus Christ desires process and not position. Many are saved but few are discipled because it takes humility, obedience and teachability. Luke 9:23. We begin our walk with the finished work of Christ but the question is,” Are we becoming a finished work of Christ?” Ephesians 2:10.

There is a desperate need of discipleship for the Church today. Salvation requires shepherding to be sanctified and today there are many lost sheep in the wild vine, either backslide or not in Church, more so under discipleship. What is Jesus coming to receive? Apostle Paul uses marriage to symbolise,” that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians‬ ‭5:26-27‬. ‭Satan is trying to cause a divorce between a bride (Church) and her bridegroom (Christ) by making us no longer in the House of God. But a spiritual awakening is coming powerfully to break out from our spiritual slumber and outbreak our spiritual fervour for the preparation and process to be ready for Jesus coming. Romans 13:11. The house of God is the house of prayer, the house of discipleship, and the house of power. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, I repent if I have not put you, your Word and your discipleship as my priority. I need your Holy Spirit to work inside of me, breaking all slumber, lukewarmness, and lawlessness. Bring me back to my first love and first works daily to abide in your presence forever. May I hold fast to you and my confessions daily that I will not sin but thrive in Christ and be an overcomer in Jesus' Name, Amen!
