5 May 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Updated: May 23, 2022

Today’s Inspiration: “Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. Lord, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call!” Psalms‬ ‭20:6-9.‬ ‭

Prayer of faith is the key to move in the Spirit. Zechariah 4:6. Prayer is birthed through pain like labour yet it is strengthened by desperation and hunger for God’s righteousness. So don’t put your trust on earthly things for they fade away quickly but trust in the Lord and His Word which will last forever. King David was a man after God’s heart and not after the things of the World. Acts 13:22. He doesn’t pray like the pagans for what He needs but to do the will of God and to seek His face. God’s powerful anointing was on David because the Lord’s heavy burden for the distress, in debt, and discontent was in Him. No one who carries great respect and honour, is without deep responsibilities and trust. Trust God in all things, for He shall raise you up and give you victory over all fears, anxieties, and stress. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me in seeking all the worldly things but doesn’t trust you with all my heart. Let my heart and treasure be you and you alone. Let your will be mine and your kingdom be done on earth as it is in heaven. Stretch in me a new measure of faith to trust you not with what I see but to believe what your inspired Word reveals in revelation. For you are victorious and so shall your children, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
