Today’s Inspiration: “On this day the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews got the upper hand over those who hated them.”Esther 9:1 The celebration of Purim is knowing God turned the tables for His people around to destroy Haman, who wanted death for all Jews. It was a remarkable and divine encounter when queen Esther was called to pray and fasted 3 days with her people to bring salvation and protection from annihilation.

God gave her favour, courage, boldness and wisdom to approach the king to overturn, overthrow and overrun the enemy by laying a feast which eventually exposes Haman’s schemes and was put to death. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but Christ came to give us life and life abundantly. John 10:10 The psalmist sang, You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”Psalms 23:5-6 This is the season to be still and know that our God fights for His people in prayers, petitions and thanksgiving.
Prayer: O Lord my God, for you are good and your mercy endures forever! No weapons form against your people shall prosper and every accusations by the enemy shall be condemned by the Lord. Those who trust and believe in you in praying and fasting will not be put to shame. You turn all our difficult situations around, supplies all our needs, overthrow all adversaries and deliver us from evil with your victory, in Jesus Name, Amen.
