Today’s Inspiration: “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,” Acts 3:19 NIV. The major obstacle of unanswered prayer is pride and it is rooted in fear because one’s sinful nature. Without repentance, we will not be able draw close to God and greatest danger of lacking spiritual growth is an unrepentant heart. This is the cause of prayerlessness, lukewarmness, and eventual lawlessness. But repentance breaks them all by the power of fervent and effectual prayers.

Growing in humility and fervent prayers of repentance, reformation, and regeneration is the spiritual life line for a believer. That’s why when one doesn’t have desire to pray is a sign of backsliding. No more need for God and only dependent on self. Apostle Paul taught,”For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 Let’s keep our prayer altar burning day and night!
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are my hiding place and my redeemer from sins, iniquities and transgressions. Sanctify and cleanse me daily as I confess and repent of my sins and areas not pleasing to you. Forgive my sins, guide me and teach me to be more like Christ with your everlasting ways according to your Word an Prayer. let your forgiveness, grace and love pour forth a new season of refreshing rain for healing, restoration, and reconciliation my family, marketplace and church, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
