Today‘s Inspiration: “Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.”Proverbs 28:14 NIV. Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches, honour and life. Hardening of our hearts come from the hurts, abuses and wounds of our past like rejections, neglect, betrayal or abandonment. All these hinder our relationship with God, self, and others. We don’t realise when we hurt others, we are hurting ourselves. And when we don’t like others, we actually don’t like ourselves too. But love and forgiveness covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8.
Wisdom says,”Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.”Proverbs 10:12. Repentance and forgiveness break the transport and logistic system of the demonic realm and close all accesses to negative emotions, thoughts and words in our lives. Open wounds are open doors to Satan and his lies to tell us we are not loved, accepted or belonged. But we are deeply loved by God so much that He gave His only son Jesus Christ to die for us at the Cross to give us eternal life, favor and blessing. Only Christ can give us a new heart and take away our old hardened heart to the Calvary. Ezekiel 36:26. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, turn my eyes upon the Cross. I surrender to you my hardened heart in exchange for your heart of unconditional love, grace, and mercy. For I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
