Today‘s Inspiration: “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.” Proverbs 11:30 NKJV. Christ is the image of God who lived, loved and led a fruitful life in the Spirit for all of us to follow. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. John 14:6. The power of the gospel changes a soul from being self centred to salvation centred in winning souls for the kingdom of God. It is the blood of Jesus, the power of the Cross and the resurrection in the Spirit which reveals our liberating, living and loving Messiah.
Kingdom purpose and fulfilment in life is not about how much we have but how much we give like Christ. One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty. A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:24-25. Christianity is not just about salvation but about sacrifice in its core. Someone sacrificed their time and invested their life boldly to share the gospel good news to us about Christ so that we can become a child of God and have eternal life. Will you do likewise? Let’s be wise to win souls and be a blessing to their lives. Winning is not forcing but loving the person so that he or she sees Christ in us. Glory to God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let I be lesser and you be greater. Let I not be ashamed of the gospel but be bold and courageous to share the good news of Christ to the people around me. May I be a sower of your seed of salvation, hope and fruitfulness in souls who are lost, the least and the last. May the Holy Spirit lead me to be sensitive to the needs of others that I may become a blessing and witness of Christ to them in Jesus' Name, Amen.
