Today’s Inspiration: “Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me; And the ships of Tarshish will come first, To bring your sons from afar, Their silver and their gold with them, To the name of the Lord your God, And to the Holy One of Israel, Because He has glorified you. “The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, And their kings shall minister to you; For in My wrath I struck you, But in My favor I have had mercy on you.” Isaiah 60:9-10.
This scripture speaks prophetically about God’s discipline and restoration of Israel, even in a foreign land for God’s people. How can my family be saved, restore, and reconcile? What if I am the only Christian in my home? Being a Christian can seems to make one a foreigner in a familiar place. When Christ lives in us, we break from our past worldly ways, thoughts and behaviours. John 17:16. We no longer live for ourselves but Christ that lives in us and we live by faith through the grace and love in Him. Galatians 2:20. My entirely unsaved family received salvation was because my mum gave her life to Christ. She found the treasure in the field, gave it all for the land and brought us there like the parable of the Kingdom. Matthew 13:44. So do not search for the riches in the world but in the heart, that’s where salvation resides. Love never fails.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me press in to know you more and as I lay hold on you Lord, and may your hand lay hold upon me that I may share your agape love to my love ones and friends who doesn’t know you yet. Lead me to those you have chosen by your grace, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
