Today’s Inspiration: “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.” Psalms 62:5-8. Put your trust in God and you will not rust. Many of us face insecurities in life and this causes the pride of life. Insecurity is a spiritual bondage which one depends on self rather than God. It draws one to selfishness and not selflessness.
Have your ever been afraid of how people look at you, think of you and talk about you? So much that you get angry so easily and react to critic, blame and even condemn. These manifestations comes when we were abandoned, rejected or neglected during our infant days. You cannot trust anyone, let alone trusting God. But we thank God for He gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for us that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16. Jesus came to remove all our insecurities in our soul. By His blood of grace, we are loved, accepted and embraced by His tender mercies and loving kindness. Surrender all our insecurities to God for He will lead you to the dwell in His fortress, refuge and kingdom forever. He is the rock of our salvation and in Him I can put all my trust and lean not on my own understanding anymore. Proverbs 3:5. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, today I confess and surrender all my insecurities to you. For your perfect love cast out all fears, anxieties and insecurities. My hope is found in you, for your Blood is my righteousness and your Cross is the love I carry, no longer I who lives but Christ lives in me. In Him I am secure and shall not be moved or shaken for He is my eternal rock and strength whom I trust, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
