4 January 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.” Psalm 18:28-29.

Year 2022 is the Year of the Light, the Seeker and Awakening of the Spirit. It’s a reminder to keep our Altars burning day and night in Prayer and to clear of all old ashes and dirty garments of the past darkness and put on the Amour of light, the full amour of God. Romans 13:12.

To keep our lamps burning we need to trim the wick, clear the shoots, and fill the oil. What do you seek in 2022? Don’t seek the things of the world but the Kingdom of God. Happiness is only for temporal things that could be seen but Joy is eternal in the hearts which cannot be seen. Happiness is based on feelings but Joy in the Lord is based on our decision and faith. Nehemiah 8:10 To trim is to be humble and teachable by the Word of God. To clear is to remove sin, negativity and bad habits. And to fill is to seek the Lord for a fresh anointing of Holy Spirit. Do not let the past two years of COVID bring you down or also some may face the lost of love ones. Be of good cheer for the Lord has overcome the world. John 16:33.

Prayer: O Lord My God, keep my lamp burning for you and not let the fire of Holy Spirit be quenched in my heart. I humble before you to be changed for your new purposes and assignments. With you, I proclaim I will have the victories of Jacob and shall be a witness of your glory, in Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.
