Today’s Inspiration: “He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, But whoever walks wisely will be delivered. He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.” Proverbs 28:26-27 NKJV. Wisdom, love and generosity is divinely evident in the life of Christ Jesus, our Lord and saviour. He turned water into wine in a wedding crisis, healed the sick, cast out demons and fed the poor. Christ always puts His trust in God and not on his own will, feelings or perception.

The greatest joy and fulfilment in a Christian life is to do the will and word of God in saving souls, making disciples and blessing the poor, sick, and needy. At the end of our lives, it is not about what we have that pleases God but on the contrary about what we gave that touches God. Matthew 25:40. Jesus said,”For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:38-40. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, may we be a sheep nation that is wise, loving, and generous like Christ, who was filled with the Holy Spirit to bring love, faith, and hope into the world which is filled with darkness, sinfulness, and lovelessness. Let our faith not just be hearers of the Word but be doers of the Word of God. A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
