4 April 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jeremiah‬ ‭33‬:‭3‬. Prayer in the Spirit directs our thoughts, emotions and words back to God’s prophetic promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We worry because we doubt, we fear because we disobey and we stress because we are double minded. Most of our struggles in life is with self and the power of the Cross is to remove a self-centered life to a Christ-centered life. The mystery of the gospel resides in the revelation of the Cross.

Why Jacob wrestled with God? It’s was like a deep intercession experiencing a spiritual tug of war. If he meets with Esau, he knows he will kill him. It’s likened that Christ was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane for the Cross. It was death to self that brought divine resurrection of the Spirit man. God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8. You might be having great challenges in making an important decision or seeking a new direction for your work, business or ministry. It’s time to call upon the Lord and He will lead and guide your spirit to see the invisible and to do the impossible. It is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me that leads me by faith. Galatians 2:20.

Prayer: O Lord my God, as the heavens are higher than the earth so are your ways and thoughts higher than mine. Lead me with your signs and posts that I may follow your bidding and your Holy Spirit. Let not my will but your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. My answer is the Cross and my food is to do the Father’s will, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
