4 May 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.“ Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ God created our hearts first and He also ends with our hearts last in life. Many issues of life can bring deep hurts, pains and sorrows in life which can harden our hearts within us. Abuses can cause bitterness, anger and rage within us to harbour unforgiveness, resentment and indifference in our daily attitude, behaviour and character. Wisdom taught us to guard our hearts above all things, for out of it flows issues of life. Proverbs 4:23.

One souls can be born again but not fully sanctified to be glorified. Divine breakthrough comes when we deal with the matters of the heart which is always the heart of the matter. The greatest work of the Holy Spirit is in our substructures rather than our superstructures so that we have a firm foundation, clear moral compass and new life. The Lord says,” I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God. I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you. I will increase the fruit of the trees and the crops of the field, so that you will no longer suffer disgrace among the nations because of famine.“ Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭27‬-‭30‬ ‭NIV‬‬ Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, remove any hardness within me and give me the heart of Christ, the love of God who forgives all my sins, iniquities and transgressions. Likewise I release forgiveness by faith to all offences and offenders in my life. Bring deeper healing to my soul and lead me with your Holy Spirit to experience all the goodness, grace and greatness of God. Heal me and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
