Today‘s Inspiration: “Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.” Proverbs 29:18 NIV. Wisdom comes from prayers of submission, surrender, and obedience to the Word of God, the voice of God. Faith is the product of seeking God, but fear is the outcome of seeking self. Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6. Fear comes from our fleshly desires but faith emerges from God’s divine direction.
Christ strongest battle wasn’t satan and his demons for He has all authority to rebuke and cast them out. It was the desires of the flesh because you can’t cast them out. What you want to do might not be what God wants. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4. Christ yielded His heart, soul, and body wholly to God in the Garden of Gethsemane. His first blood was prayer. Luke 22:44 For without the Cross, our flesh will not die so that our Spirit can be revived and resurrected. Similar, there’s no healing and redemption of sins without repentance and no wisdom and counsel without the fear of the Lord. How would you pray?
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my heart be still, silence and surrendered unto you. I yield to you my spirit, soul, and body. Let it be a living sacrifice before your brazen altar. Pull down every fleshly thoughts, desires and resistance that comes against your Word of Knowledge. Holy Spirit, take every of my thoughts, emotions, and feelings captive into Christ, your Holy presence. For in you, I am a new creation, for the old has passed away and the new has come. Open the my eyes in my heart with enlightenment of your glory and teach me with thy anointing to follow your still small voice, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
