6 May 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭20‬-‭21‬. ‭If God formed the heavens, earth, and living creatures with His Word, words in our lives have formative power over our life, destiny and spirituality. Words can be used to build or destroy lives and one’s life outcomes can be discerned through one’s daily words. So be careful, mindful and discerning of words used daily.

Jesus taught,” For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭34‬-‭37.‬ ‭Notice human are the only ones God created to speak with profound words of knowledge because we are created in the image of God who has His daily Word of wisdom for us. Hence the Bible is God’s divine operational manual for a fruitful and fulfilling life. Christ who is the Word, is the way, truth and the life. John 14:6.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let my spirit be filled with your Word daily as the lamp of God. They are light to my path and the promises for a blessed life. May the words of my mouth and meditation of the heart be pleasing to you and abide to your commandments in your Holy Word. Forgive me of any careless, cursed, or callous words which I have used in the past. Sanctify me as you did for Isaiah and use my tongue for your prophetic utterance, blessing and destiny, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
