31 October 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” 1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ What is Spiritual maturity? What is the essence of Spiritual formation in our lives? We cannot measure the kingdom like the world does. The world define the Church maturity and formation by the outward size, strength and skills but the Kingdom measures the inward sacrifice, sacrament, and servanthood to God.

Anointing without Christlike Attitude could corrupt one’s character. The measurement of spiritual maturity is the measurement of one’s love in Christ. It is the foundation which cannot be shaken, broken or moved. It is not our carnal or fleshly love but the unconditional love through Christ Jesus our saviour, healer and redeemer. Spiritual formation is working towards Christlikeness not just about moving in the gifts but rather growing and producing the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 5:22:23 Love is the only power that could transform us from the inside out. Why do we fight? It’s all about insecurity but God’s agape love covers multitude of sins and reveals our identity. 1 Peter 4:8.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let your love overflow in my soul like a cup that runneth over. Such lavishing I could never comprehend and depths of compassion I never deserved. Such divine grace astonishes me and compels me to love like you did to me, for others. No longer I who lives, but it is Christ that lives inside of me daily, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
