31 May 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭26‬-‭27‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ When we are hurt and wounded in our lives, they become open doors for negative emotions, thoughts, words and actions to harden our hearts by the enemy. Today in the healing ministry we experienced many couldn’t feel, hear or encounter God because of a hardened heart.

A hardened heart finds it difficult to love others and also hard to allow the love of God to come into one’s life. It’s a spiritual wall. A wounded heart does not trust, is insecure and is very sensitive, defensive and reactive in the flesh. Therefore it cannot move in the spirit or connect with the spirit of God. It is easily offended without love, grace and mercy. The power of the Cross is to heal the broken hearted and binding up our wounds so that we can feel the love of Christ. Psalm 147:3 The key is to confess our sins, repent and give God our old hardened heart to have a new heart from Him and a beginning with Christ. When we open our hearts to God, we close the doors to the enemy. Give Jesus all our wounds and He shall bring deep divine healing. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, daily I choose to surrender my heart to you. Take away the heart of stone and give me your heart of compassion. Let no offense, hurts or festering wounds be left unconfessed, unrepented, or unsurrendered to you. Heal me and I shall be healed, for in Christ I am a new creation, and the old has passed aways and new has come by the Spirit of God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
