30 August 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.”1 Corinthians 14:3 NIV. One who prophesy doesn’t mean he is a prophet and those who doesn’t prophesy doesn’t mean they cannot become prophetic. The gift of prophesy comes from the Holy Spirit and it is powerful because it edifies our spirit man and brings faith, hope and the love of God to a soul. It changes one’s mind and vision towards God’s will, way, and word.

The battlefield of our mind requires God’s prophetic anointing to breach all the devil’s scheme and break all the deceptions with His divine light and truth. For without the knowledge of God, we perish. Hosea 4:6. Christ is our treasure and our source of anointing. Prayer in the Spirit frees us from our carnal mind and connects us to the spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 14:14. The presence of God simply breaks all yokes of the enemy by the power of the Cross. Spiritual word has spiritual power to bring healing, deliverance and breakthroughs. From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:20-21 Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, bring strength, counsel, and comfort to my spirit man. For the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Fill me with your Holy Spirit anointing, and let your living waters of the prophetic flow as the deep calls upon the deep. Let the songs of joy be called forth and the praises be rode by the Lord. For I shall produces fruit in all seasons; my leaves shall not wither, and all that I do shall prosper in obedience to the Word of God, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
