30 August 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s inspiration: “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease.” Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬. Healing is the primary Word of God in Jesus’s ministry. His divine instructions is to preach the gospel, heal the sick and set free those who are oppressed. There is no other times which the world is desperate and in need for love, hope, and faith. 1 Corinthians 13:13. After Pandemic, mental wellness has become global concern even more than critical illnesses.

The battlefield of the mind is always against fear and it gives foothold to emotional distress, procrastination, and anxieties. It’s only the perfect love of God that will cast out all fears, anxieties and stress. 1 John 4:18. Faith also operates through the love of Christ which delivers one’s soul from oppression, and depression. The Lord’s anointing comes from His compassion for the poor and sick in doing His Father’s Will. This is the season to exercise faith in praying for sick and depressed, sharing the love of God. When we declare the Name of Jesus, we practice the presence of God in all areas and in all places of needs. I remembered praying for a friend who has a bad migraine over the phone, and immediately after I put down it rang again and was told it totally gone. Praise God! Nothing is impossible for Holy Spirit.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe as your disciples, we are called to share the gospel and to exercise faith in praying for the broken, sick and poor. I believe in miracles and the power of the Holy Spirit to bring powerful testimonies to glorify God. I am a carrier of the Cross and bearer of the Marks of Christ, to usher in the presence of God. For in your presence, there is fullness of joy, liberty and deliverance, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
