30 April 2025 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Gratitude is the best attitude in God’s eyes, just as David was a man after God’s own heart. Our relationship with God reflects our relationship with self and others. Thanksgiving is a receptacle of love which connects our hearts to another and letting the other party know we appreciate, grateful and acknowledge his or her goodness. How much more is to God? Thanksgiving changes us in our spiritual growth in prayer, worship and application of God’s Word.

Thanksgiving is a giving and generous spirit which reflects the grace of God, who gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ as an atonement, a living sacrifice for our sins, iniquities, and transgressions. When all were hungry, Jesus gave thanks to God for the two fishes and five bread, and it multiplied. And before Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead, He thank God for answered prayers. Have we thank God lately or do we stress, worry or be anxious? Apostle Paul taught,”Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭

Prayer: O Lord my God, I thank you for your divine grace that you gave your beloved Son Jesus Christ for taking my sins to the Cross. I am a sinner saved by grace and may all the days of my life be filled with gratitude and thanksgiving in my heart of all your goodness, graciousness and greatness. For the joy of the Lord is my strength. Let my mind be always be like the mind of Christ, who always gives thanks to God in peace, union and communion, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
