3 May 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: ”Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you— for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others.“ Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ We have to learn how to discern the voice of God rather than the noises of the world. Today the crisis of the Church is that Christian parents no longer focus on discipling the Word of God in their children moral life and guiding them how to hear the voice of God. In this day and age of negative social media and news, they are great distractions, divisions and deceptions.

The greatest fear for the generation is being so rich on the outside but impoverished on the inside. One that serves mammon and not God. Matthew 6:24. One time I was praying in an inner healing session for a young counsellee who faced many rejections in her life and faced many health problems. We broke all the curses in her life and there wasn’t breakthrough. Suddenly the Holy Spirit prompted,”Who she cursed had ensnared her.” Speaking about turning the coin and flipping the carpet, we discovered all the bondages of defiled words. She was then truly set free by the power of God. The world is filled with vulgarities and vices that only Christ and His truth can break to set us free in spirit, soul, and body. Glory to God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, cleanse our lips and bridle our tongue with your Holy Word. Forgive us for all careless, critical and callous curses we had spoken to you, others and self. We confess, rebuke and renounce them in our spirit and soul, broken at the Cross of Calvary. Sanctify my eyes, my ears, and my mouth to pray and proclaim thy living Word only, in Jesus Name, Amen.
