Today’s Inspiration: “But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”vIsaiah 40:31 NKJV. Learning to wait upon the Lord is the art of hearing the Voice of God. We walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. Our relationship with the Lord demands our time and intimacy with God, in prayer, petition and thanksgiving in our hearts. Philippians 4:6 Waiting time is not just meditating or retreating into silence or solace, rather it is being aware of the presence of God, walking with Him in trust and in obedience to His Word. Waiting time is not wasted time but building a deep relationship and communion with God.
Time of refreshing is coming when we wait upon Him in humility, quietness and trust. Isaiah 30:15. Waiting is also prayer and worshiping time in exalting and thanking the Lord in all situations and circumstances. You may face problems unsolvable at workplace, ministry or home but I come to understand this divine truth in the relationship with God. Even when I don’t see things are working, God is working. He works in ways I cannot see, for I know He shall make a way for me. Romans 8:28. His ways are higher than ours so are His wonderful works of breakthroughs, healing and reconciliation. Hearts are turning to one another again so don’t give up easily in the waiting time. Waiting in His presence build our patience, resilience and perseverance. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, there are wonders in your processes and miracles in your breakthroughs. Your dwelling place is my desire to wait. Build me up Lord in your Holy faith. Cast me not out of your presence and take not thy Holy Spirit away from me. Restore me into the joy of your salvation and uphold me with your generous spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
