Today‘s Inspiration: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 NIV. In 2024, the voice of the Lord is speaking not to be Overloaded with fear, anxieties and stress of people, tasks, or things. Our sins, worldliness and flesh can easily and heavily weigh into our spirit, soul and body with wounds, weariness and wariness. This is a year of deep transformation of Character.
Without love of God through Christ, there is no deep transformation. Competency without Character is like the Pharisees who are spiritually Corrupted. Similarly to gifts without the fruits opens door to the demonic. It’s the power of the Cross, the yoke of Christ, the agape love of God which brings us redemption through the precious blood of Jesus. Humility, obedience and teachability brings healing, restoration and reconciliation with God. Remember we don’t enter the kingdom of heaven by our spiritual gifts but by our spiritual fruits which is our Attitude, Behaviour, and Character. Healing of Character is the theme in 2024. That’s when we overflow with Christ and not overload with the World. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, bring me closer to your presence and the picture of your image. Heal all my past wounds, emotional weariness, and mental wariness. Let this year be of repentance, forgiveness of sins and return to your dwelling place that I may be transformed and transfigured into your likeness. I am too blessed to be stressed, and destined to overflow and not overload in Jesus' Name, Amen.
