Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”James 5:16 NIV Sin gives power and foothold for Satan to ensnare souls and bring sicknesses into body. The most hidden sins are heart sins. It’s bitterness, suppressed anger, hatred, resentment, envy, jealousy, unforgiveness, covetousness, pride, lies, and self righteousness.

Without repentance and confession for earnest change, there is no redemption by the blood of atonement. Apostle Paul taught,”In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.”Ephesians 4:26-27 NIV Negative emotions are detrimental to health and mental wellness. Repentance breaks the stronghold of our past sins, abuses, hurts, pain, and wounds. Forgiveness of God brings love, grace and mercy into our life, removing the hardness of our hearts. This way we do not grief the Holy Spirit and hinder answered prayers.

Prayer: O Lord my God, I am a sinner saved by your grace. Reveal to me the deep things of God and the deep roots in my soul. Search my heart and know my anxious thoughts; if there are any offences, forgive my heart sins and negative thoughts, words, and behaviours. Help me Holy Spirit to be transformed more like Christ. Give me a clean hands and a pure heart, in Jesus Name, Amen.
