Today's Inspiration: Heed every word of prophecy. Understand that all prophecies never had its origin in the will of man but men come from God as they were carried along by the Holy spirit. 2 Peter 1:21. Therefore we must make every effort to live holy lives, spotless and blameless and at peace with Him. He who is coming the second time will bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him.
God is not pleased when we shrink back in our faith for the righteous one is supposed to live by faith. It is by faith and faith alone that pleased God. When we are weak in the faith, God comes round to strengthen us. He strengthened Joshua in Joshua 1:6-8 and empowers His courage and strength to him. He strengthened Gideon when he was pounding wheat commanding him to be a valiant warrior to fight against his enemies. God always use the frail and weak to confound the wise.
If you do not have faith in God, you do not trust Him enough to walk with Him. Faith involves belief in God's existence. Faith places the highest value on God Himself. Faith rests and relies on God of revelation. Faith respond to words of God. Noah is the first person in the Bible who acts in direct response to His word to build an ark. Hebrews 11:7. By faith he condemned the world and became heir of righteousness that comes by faith. He heeded His warning of a flood of catastrophic proportions unlike anything he had never seen before. Righteousness before a holy God is not a human achievement but the gift of a gracious God because of the finished work of Christ. When we trust in the Lord Jesus Christ the Holy God declared us righteous on the basis of the finished work of Christ.
Faith means stepping out and acting on the basis of His word. Faith is not by word only but by action as well. Had Noah not acted we would not have the scriptures today. Genuine faith is such a precious commodity that when it appears it stands out like a precious jewel. Faith is like oxygen that we needs daily to achieve His purpose. We are cleansed in the light and fellowship of Christ. No scripture is man breath but God's breath for our survival and perform great deeds for the glory of His name in Christ Jesus.
Prayer: Lord grant me a dream that offers life direction that helps me navigate life smoothly. Let my dream demonstrate the life that I will lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
