29 November 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV. Prayer keeps our spirit, soul, and body, the temple of Holy Spirit lit day and night. Without the full amour of God, our spiritual life goes into slumber and we become insensitive to the flesh, lust, pride and sin. Our battle is not carnal but spiritual in pulling down strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4.

Apostle Paul taught,”But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭11‬ ‭There is power in prayers and especially praying for one another. God works through the saints who are faithful and watchful over souls for the kingdom of God. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me be reminded to put on the full amour of God daily. Let your Word be on my lips and my heart daily that I will not sins but triumph over all darkness, depression and diseases. Your light shall be upon my spirit I am your lamp and your vessel. As I draw close to you, draw close to me. For in your light I shall see light, in Jesus Name, Amen.
