Today‘s Inspiration: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”Matthew 6:21 NKJV. As a Christian, our treasure is Christ who is above our church, ministry, missions, family, marriage and work. What we seek reflects what we desire, and what we desire reflects the conditions of our hearts. The word of God says,” A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.”Matthew 12:35. Who do you prioritise in your life? Are we led by the flesh or by the Holy Spirit?
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Matthew 6:19-20. The greatest joy and fulfilment in life is that we have done what God had purposed us to do using His calling, gift and will for us. The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44 Prayer opens up our spiritual vision and dream to know God’s direction and instruction in His Time and Season. Have faith.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let me not be busy or distracted but to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness in prayer, and all that is needed shall be provided. Let not my will but your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Reveal your glory that I may know your grace and goodness in my heart. You are the treasure of my life and all that I have is yours, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
